Katie

Katie Moskowitz

Executive Director

Katie Moskowitz is a former NCAA collegiate head volleyball coach and serves as the Executive Director of Colorado RoughRiders Volleyball Club. With a background in teaching, Katie believes in the importance of educating all athletes in what it means to be a well-rounded student-athlete. At RoughRiders volleyball, team and hard work are the key foundations to helping develop each individual, so they can reach their full potential both on and off the court.

Katie has coached at both the Collegiate and High School levels. She understands the process in which it takes to play at the next level and has been an experienced college volleyball recruiter. Katie coached the Adams State Grizzlies to the RMAC West Division Championship in 2003. She has coached All-Conference and Hall of Fame volleyball players. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies from Black Hills State University and a Masters in Exercise Sport Science from Adams State.

Katie is married to Mike Moskowitz. Mike is the Executive Director of RoughRider Basketball and former collegiate head men’s basketball coach. Katie and Mike have two boys, Myles (18) and Elliot (16).

“It is an exciting time for volleyball in the Boulder and North Denver area. What the facilities and amenities can provide all encompassed in one location has been long overdue. With five volleyball courts to call home, sports specific performance training, private lessons, physical therapy, nutritionists and sports psychologists all in one building, this is the future of club volleyball in Colorado.”
